Folk Roots Appreciation

This group started in September, 2012.

We are a group with an interest in folk and roots music. Each meeting has a theme, chosen in rotation by members of the group, and we each choose three songs to fit the theme. Usually we find our tracks on YouTube and a playlist is then compiled for us to watch and listen to prior to the meeting at which we discuss the tracks.
Sometimes we are introduced to new music and musicians; sometimes we encounter old ‘friends’. Recent topics include Real or Imagined People, Travelling Shows and Showman and Love Gone Wrong.
