This group is for anyone of any ability who wants to tap into the creative side of their brain and produce some art. We are a group of mixed ability, always ready to help each other and offer encouragement. Most of all, we enjoy getting together to be creative.
Each session, members are invited to either work on their own project or take on the suggested topic and challenge of the week. Any media can be used - pencil, charcoal, paints, coloured pencils, collage or anything else you feel you want to experiment with.
The venue has a sink with hot and cold water, making it ideal for using paints. Each person has space to be creative with their materials and the room is very light and airy.
The cost of hiring the room is shared equally between the group members.
Refreshments are available to purchase at the venue.
Sometimes we collaborate on a piece of work, such as our group’s name banner above or the ‘old master’ painting below.
